Representatives of the Black Hat USA 2019 conference demonstrated how to trick the identification system of the owners of the latest iPhone model. For this, only glasses and scotch tape are needed.

The bug was discovered by Tencent security researchers. They found that lenses do not allow scanning around the eyes. Therefore, the eyes of people with glasses Face ID simply recognizes as a black spot. Therefore, the black tape pasted on the glasses, in the center of which is placed white, will lead to success for anyone who wants to use an "apple" smartphone.
